How long does a counselling session take?

You may choose to book in for 60 minutes or a 90 minute session.

How much does it cost?

The initial cost for a 60 minute session is $180 

Ongoing counselling sessions are $160 per session for 60 minutes

90 minutes sessions are available for $200 per session

The length of your session will be discussed when you make an appointment as to what length of time is appropriate.

High School and primary school children are $120 per hour.

A reduced pricing structure is offered to various community groups, first responders and various charity groups.

How long do I need to see a Counselor?

As long as it takes...there is no definitive answer to this question.

Every person is differrent and every session is tailored to the individual client and their needs.

It may be that one session is of benefit for you, or perhaps a fortnightly or monthly appointment.

This depends entirely as to what your goals and objectives are and how long the plan is for you to work through them and achieve them to the level that you are satisfied with.

Will my session be confidential?

Absolutely, any discussions, group therapy, or any type of counseling work conducted at Good Counsel will be held in the upmost and strictist of confidence.

We follow and observe the Professional ethical code of conduct and practices.

We have private parking and your privacy is uphled at every stage of the process.
